1. That, peace is in the best interest of the Peoples of
the Middle East and of the global objectives of the United States of
America. The goal of the AUP is to enhance the Peace dividends to the
Palestinian People and their partners in peace.
2. That, cultural and economic achievements under the rule
of a Civil Society are the key yardsticks for measuring National Policies
success and achievements.
3. That, educational and developmental parity and
opportunity cement and reinforce venues of cooperation between
Palestinians and their neighbors.
4. That, the Middle East’s future economic success
requires its full integration in the competitive Global Economy.
5. That, it is possible to develop many high
technology-based economic sectors without the necessity of having the
over-all local economy passing through the earlier stages of the so-called
appropriate and intermediate technology phases.
6. That, a highly trained Scientific and Technical Human
Resource is the key ingredient of the economical wealth of the countries
of the Jordan River.

peace and orderly change prevail and when conditions conducive to
