"A basic essential to the permanent peace is a decent standard of living." F.D.Roosevelt

"Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures."                              J.F.Kennedy

“It should never be forgotten that peace resides ultimately not in the hands of governments, but in the hands of the people. For unless peace can be made real to men, women and children of the Middle East, the best efforts of negotiators will come to naught.”
“ We aim to build a better future under peace: to change the pattern of life for our people from despair and hopelessness to honor and dignity. We want all voices to be heard in shaping a new regional order.”
King Hussein

Management of all Non-academic Operations of the American University of Palestine

FANUES takes responsibility of all business transactions related to the college town and university parks of the “University”. It takes title to, and holds in its own name, any real estate in Palestine designated under agreement contract with the host country for the “University’s” college town, university parks, and any of the “University” medical facilities.

Under above acquisitions and with such type of interests, FANUES Foundation shall sublease property for development and building and managing the college town including its shops, specialized refectories, and other services, provided that the sublease agreements are exclusively limited to the contracting parties without the beneficiary/ies accruing in consequence thereof any acquired sub-rights at any time during the life of the lease contract with the host country, or upon its expiration or termination, and provided that subcontracts expire at the expiration or termination of the lease contract with the host country.

The model of the American college town is a living example of how a small community established to serve a land-grant university could grow and flourish into an attractive educational and business center. The support services built around the campus would attract employees as well as businesses and entrepreneurs.  In a third world country geared for peace and regional economic integration within the global free market economy, such center can boost trade, productivity, and living standards, especially when it will act as a magnet for many international, academic, cultural, and business activities to boost Middle East peace.
